Success Story!

Boomer is a total love bug!
Hello Columbia Second Chance!
We just wanted to give you all an
update on "Butch" (the Australian Cattle Dog mix) who we adopted in
June at the Award Pet Supply event. His name is now Boomer. After his bout with
coccidia, giarddia and tapeworms he is gaining weight and growing like a champ.
He is about 20 pounds now and just finished his last set of puppy shots. He
is all legs right now and is going be be a tall boy!
He began puppy obedience classes 3 weeks ago and is doing well with them. We
signed him up for the next level and he will be starting agility when he is
a little closer to a year old. He already loves running through tunnels and
jumping over things.
He is completely housebroken now and is still a total love bug! I hold him like
a baby before bed and talk to him and tell him what a great dog he is and how
lucky we were to find him. He was well worth every minute of the 6 1/2 hour
drive to Columbia!
He loves his Lab brother Mackinac. The play for hours at a time! Boomer also
loves the water. We have a baby wading pool that him and Mackinac love to play
in. Boomer even goes underwater with his face to fetch bones!
Thank you again for giving Boomer a Second Chance. He is a great dog and can't
imagine our house without him!
I have attached a few pictures of him. The 1st is when we first adopted him
and the other are within the last month.
Thank you!
