A Big Hello to CSC and All CSC Fans!
We are Frankie & Johnny, a brother & sister pair of long-hair Dachshunds who
ended up with Columbia Second Chance when our previous owner had some
unfortunate life changes and could no longer keep us.
We were very fortunate to have been placed in the CSC adoption program. They
make sure that pets find good homes where they are well cared for and get lots
of love & attention. The folks at CSC were great and we got to stay with a nice
foster mom for a brief time. It didn't take long for us to be placed with our
new forever family. Our "mom-to-be" spotted us on the CSC website the very
first day we were listed. She got in touch with CSC lickity-split and talked
extensively with the North’s (some really nice CSC volunteers who assisted her
with all the required processes and procedures). The rest is history! We've
been here with the Fisher's for a couple of months now, and we are LOVING it!
Life is really good here!

They have a little 3-year old human daughter named Payton, who thinks we are
just great, and we sure do love her! Johnny's especially sweet on Payton, and
loves to snuggle and give her lots of kisses! We are only 2-years old
ourselves, so the three of us love to play and hang out together. J Oh yeah,
and there are several other 4-legged fur friends here that have welcomed us
with open paws. Mason, Brittany, Dodger, and Punkin are our new good buddies!
Dodger, a long hair Dachshund like us, was a tad jealous the first night we
arrived, but he got over that very quickly because he realized we meant no
harm.

All of us play together, eat together, sleep together, and enjoy living the
good life! Mom adores us and loves to dote on us constantly! We get baths, ear
cleanses, nail trims, great food, Frontline & heartworm preventative to keep
all the nasty pests away, and we get to stay inside out of the weather and with
the family. (We’ve even over heard talk that we might get to go camping in the
big camper!) We love to play hard outside each evening after mom gets home from
work. Later on in the evenings, us three Dachshunds get to crash out on the bed
with mom as she winds down and watches a bit of t.v. after putting Payton to
sleep for the night. Yeah, it’s a great life and we got this opportunity
because of CSC! We, along with our entire new family, want to send out a big
thank you to all the nice folks with CSC who make adoptions like ours
possible!! To all of those who are considering bringing an animal into your
life, we have the following advice: make sure you can handle the commitment,
and can give us good care, lots of attention and time, and all the love that we
require. If you can, then please consider adopting through a great rescue
organization such as CSC, or perhaps your local humane society. There are lots
of great pets out there yearning for good homes and good people to show us the
way. Remember, animals aren't disposable!
Wags & Kisses, Frankie & Johnny
