Success Story!

Fred, aka Zack, newest member
of the Lawson family

Hello to the special 2nd Chance group!
I wanted to write to update you on how "Fred" is doing in his new family
...
We live in St. Louis, and happened to be in Columbia on a weekend this
past July for a statewide soccer tournament. In between games, we drove
by the Saturday "dog wash" and saw all the dogs under the tent, and had
to stop in. "Fred" and "Ethel" caught my attention right away! I would
have taken them both home, but "Ethel" was already spoken for, so "Fred"
became a part of our family. My girls have since given him a new first
name ... "Zack", but his middle name remains his given name, Fred.
He is a wonderful little boy, full of energy, love .... and yes, some
mischief too. He has a doggy door and a 1/3 acre back yard to roam full
time. He loves to play fetch with just about anything you can pick up
and throw, is learning to catch a frisbee, and loves water. He is a
great camper - we spent several weekends this past summer and fall out
camping in our RV, and he loves it! We take his crate along, and he's
right at home. The photo I've attached is during one of our camping
outings in August.
I just wanted to thank all of you for the work you do, and special thanks
for the effort you invested into Zack. You did a wonderful job raising
him during his first weeks.
