Success Story!

Herman, newest member of the Sullivan family
Herman has settled into the TOP DOG position in the Sullivan household.
Outside in the yard he is alpha by unanimous consent. The chickens flock around him and Lucy most of the day (well they are bird dogs). He has slimmed down a little from our walks (I am still waiting for that result on me!) and bounces around.
(no running for us we are both to stove up but yes he bounces) Steps are no problem. He has his routine and it is starting to look a lot like a schedule. We hear his baritone bark if we are running late with anything. (inside he just prances around looks at you and sighs)
Inside He is a real gentleman except for eating leather. The tongues of shoes must be some Brittany delicacy. He sleeps a lot but always is ready to check out family activity. Lucy and him are never far apart. They eat together (side by side) and don’t poach the others. They also counter surf in a joint effort. (when caught and scolded they collectively sigh and go into the study to lay down)
He sleeps in the study on his pallet or in the door way of one of the girls bedroom.(both girls love him and can spend hours petting him in the evening) His “Bunkie” in the study is our old yellow tom cat Tigger. (They are about the same age) Tig like to sleep between Herman’s legs.
Thanks again for all you have done.
Keep in touch,
John & Cindy Sullivan
