Success Story!
Jewell Ogden
I could not
be happier with Jewell! She has fit into my life so easily and effortlessly.
She is queen of the house! She greets everyone that she comes in to contact
with and is so loving. She has picked out an large overstuffed chair and ottoman
as "her" chair which is where she spends her day while I work, and
is at the door to greet me with a big smile and enthusiastic and animated wiggle
when I come home! At night she snuggles into her BIG doggie bed next to mine
and sleeps until morning and greets me with a snuggle! She is so precious to
me. She doesn't spend much time outside, but I am teaching her to nudge the
door open when she is ready to come in instead of barking. My theory... if she
knows she can come in anytime she wants, then maybe she will enjoy being out
in the sunshine more. The only other thing we are having to work on is walking
on the leash, and now that the weather is beginning to warm up, we will concentrate
on that.
I also want to say thank you for all the help in getting Jewell into my life.To
all of the volunteers that give love and shelter to these wonderfull animals
in hopes of finding a home for them. Thanks to all of you! I plan on keeping
in touch with you on the progress of 'my girl'.
Thanks Heather, for the happiness of Jewell !

p.s. I was so impressed with Gus too while I was there, I am working on friends
to maybe get him a home too!
