Neecy, newest member of the Morgan family

Dear volunteers at Second Chance,

I just wanted to send everyone an updated picture of our dog, Neecy, that we acquired from the no-kill shelter in February. I teach kindergarten and the children take turns taking Sugar Bear, the stuffed bear home each week. I begin by writing in a journal and telling my class how much fun Neecy and Sugar Bear had together at Mr. and Mrs. Morgan's house over the summer.

As you can see, Neecy has adapted real well, especially to our bed. I would recommend to anyone to adopt an older and larger dog. Like anything at first, it took some time for Neecy to adapt to our ways and us to her ways. But, we are all settled in now and feel so good that she came to us.
