Ophelia, newest member of the Howland family

Dear Second Chance,

Our daughter Melissa, a freshman at Stephens College, was killed in a car accident on Oct. 30, 2003. Along with a literary scholarship established at Hickman High School, Second Chance was suggested for memorial donations. Melissa had recently adoped a kitten through Second Chance. Ophelia is doing very well - an inquisitive, healthy, growing young cat. I know that Melissa would be pleased to have Second Chance receive gifts in her memory.
