Success Story!

Rusty has never met a person he didn't like and everyone loves him.

Attached is a picture of Rusty. We adopted him after Lady Sunshine passed away. She had 15 wonderful years with us. We were heart broken. Our other Dachshund, Scooter was also lost. She was his best buddie. After we picked up her ashes, we stopped to get Scooter some Greenies and we also looking for a 2005 Dachshund calendar. This was January 22nd. Second Chances was at Award Pet Store. They didn't have any calendars but they did have Rusty. It was love at first sight. Rusty is a fabulous dog. He loves the grand children and they love him. He has never met a person he didn't like and everyone loves him. We walk every morning. All the neighbors know him. He is a Mama's boy but that's ok with me. His Dad, who at first wasn't crazy about gettin a dog so fast, has been completely won over. Scooter, who also at first was a little doubtful, is Rusty's buddie. Scooter is blind from diabetes. It is a hoot to see him and Rusty play. They even tug-a-war! With Christmas coming, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your organization for the joy that Rusty has brought to our lives. He is one happy little guy. God bless you.
