Success Story!

This is Sassy, a black and tan cocker, and her adopted brother, Verdeen.

What makes this such a remarkable success story is that Sassy was 12 yrs old when her owner died and she came to CSC. Her foster mom figured Sassy would stay for the rest of her life, but she had not factored in Peggy! Peggy has kids who go to Columbia College, and for that reason watched the CSC web site. She saw Sassy, who looks just exactly like their younger cocker, and knew she needed her! She applied to adopt on line, and when approved, had her kids meet Sassy and bring her home! Sassy and her mom and sis came to Earth Day this year and gave us these pictures~

What a happy girl with a wonderful second chance for a great life!
