Success Story!

Tyne, newest member of the Burnam family
I recently adopted two wonderful dogs from Columbia Second Chance. After two years with CSC, Fen and Tyne, two of the first dogs ever to live on the property in Moniteau County, became a part of our family.
Fen is probably about eight years old and Tyne about four. Both of them were rescued from abusive homes. Tyne was kept in a small confined area and she was starving. But they were obviously treated very well at CSC because they made the transition to home life perfectly. In fact within 24 hours after we took them home, we were theirs and they were ours. Both dogs are very loving and gentle. We walk together all the time and I love to take them on the trail with me. They're good watchdogs and are very protective of my family.
CSC does outstanding work giving homeless pets in our area a "second chance" at finding loving homes. It is sad that there are so many strays in the world, but thank goodness we have Columbia Second Chance in our community to help save them.
