Success Story!

Sage aquired a little adopted sister (Rossie)

We first found Sage while surfing the web for a dog to accent our lives. We found her through a link of PetSearch.com. She was residing at Columbia Second Chance Ranch. After having sent an email and phoning (we were just a little eager!) It was a matter of hours before we'd an appointment to go meet Sage! And on a holiday no less (Labor Day)........talk about staff that are dedicated to finding happy homes for the dogs in their care! We of course were very happy to meet Heather there, and Sage! We ended up bringing Sage home for the night, a try out. We'll needless to say, they can't haver Sage back, lol. She was everything they'd said she was, and more! That was to be, as it turned out, quite the eventfull day. As it happens, we'd had one of our daughters freinds staying with us for a while, and she'd a puppy with her. She moved back home with her parents and a couple days latter (the same day we brought Sage home) called us asking if we could take the puppy because her folks didn't want it there. We'd alreay come quite attached to the little tyke and just couldn't see her put to sleep. So as it turns out, Sage has not only found a loving family of people, but aquired a little adopted sister (Rossie) too! It's a bit more than we were ready to chew, but hey, didn't see anything else to do that would make our lives so happy as it has. Everyone in the house absolutely loves them both, and they've both bonded well with each other. Rossie is a little more in tuned to playing as she's still puppy, she always wants to play. Sage loves to play with her too, but when she's had enough, she sorta barks sternly at Rossie and she leaves her alone. Guess we know who's running the show there eh? We are anxiously awaiting our adoption contract in the mail so we can get through the process and know Sage is ours to keep!
