Vanessa, Sadie's new sister

Allow me to introduce myself. I am the gorgeous, thoughtful-looking tortoiseshell cat you see in the picture. My name is Sadie and I have lived with my human, Maureen, for six years. The other cat (a beauty also if you ask me) is Vanessa who came from Columbia Second Chance to live with us on Valentine's Day.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I wasn't wild about Vanessa from the start. Not at all. When I first saw her I thought Maureen had made a terrible mistake, and I encouraged her to get the exterminator on the phone. But within a few days Vanessa started to grow on me and now we are crazy about each other. Vanessa chases me and I chase her (which is good for me because I'm watching my waistline). We also enjoy wrestling and grooming one another, and of course "Ambush" is a game that can't be beat.

So, Second Chance, thank you for sending such a sweet and fun-loving sister to live with me. And now I have to sign off. There's a certain napping feline that I simply must attack. Heh-heh. My favorite part is when she shoots straight up in the air like a bottle rocket. I think that's a riot.
