Benson

Just wanted to give you a little update on Benson (aka Fozzie). He has been in our home for 1 year as of yesterday…can you believe it??? It seems like yesterday that we made the drive to meet you at the Columbia Petco…and to adopt Benson.

Benson graduated last summer as a Canine Good Citizen and he wears his tag proudly.

We took both of the boys on our fourth anniversary trip to the Lake of the Ozarks in September and they went boating with us for the first time…see attached photo.

Bensons Favorite things:

• Eat Frosty Paws!
• Play soccer with squeaky balls
• Carry around one of those dog toy ropes with knots on both ends
• Take family walks in the neighborhood
• Snuggle with Mom and Dad
• Go on car rides

We recently bought a different (lower) bed, so he can jump up there all by himself now and is happy to do so. He and Riley sleep between my husband, Louis, and I at night…good thing we have a king-sized bed!

Benson and our other dog, Riley are just the best of friends…they really seem to enjoy one another’s company…they like to wrestle, run around in the yard and there are even times that they even cuddle a little bit…they just recently graduated to having the run of the kitchen and family room during the day when we are at work and are doing well with that.

We are so happy that we have the little guy in our life and just wanted to let you know how he was doing as we know you cared about him and thought you would enjoy an update!
