Daisy (Formerly Bunny) is a perfect match for her new family.
Bunny was
born on Easter 2007 and we adopted her in June. We call her
Daisy, Daisy Mae, Daisy Duke or Crazy Daisy. When we first had her I was
nervous because I was warned that her parents were unruly. She had maybe 4
accidents on the wood floor by the door. She did not like being in the
kennel at night, so I tried her in my daughters room for first 2 weeks and
believe it or not-she slept through the nite with no accidents! We realized
she does not like being alone-so we put her and our other dog together and
she sleeps well. She caught on to sit and down quickly. We have a 3 1/2 yr.
old male scottie and was anticipating him ignoring us and not liking her.
They are inseparable!! When you pay attention to one the other has to get
in on the action and they constantly play. Gus our scottie has put her in
her place a few times or when he was just plain grumpy. She backs off then
they play some more. My husband wasn't up to having her at first but now
they get caught in the act of being lovey. She is our baby, our 45lbs. or
so now, and she knows it. I have not had any problems with her, she is very
obedient. She does make sure she is near someone, like always at my feet.
She loves making nests in blankets and likes the silk on the ends and will
chew it. If she sees you touching it she'll give you the eye until you put
it down. Our neighbors, who each have a lab, say she is calm. I can thank
her big brother, Gus, for that since they love to just sit next to each
other, share a kennel every night, and push each other off the a/c vent to
get the cold air(even thpugh we have 2 in our kitchen-they go back and forth
over the same one. This was definately a perfect match.
