Layla

"Layla has improved my life so much since she joined me in August of 2007. She enjoys the extra room in the townhouse, and has a porch and great big grassy common area to explore. She's so laid back, and such a cuddler!

My daughter graduated from Mizzou and now lives near me, with plans to adopt a puppy from a friend who didn't have his dog spayed "in time". So Layla will have a little friend to hang out with, and that will help fill the void of dog company in her life.
We've taken her to the dog park here a couple of times, and though she is always polite, she never joins in the running and playing. She's more of a spectator, like her mom. She seemed to enjoy the atmosphere, but likes being around people more. She's so placid and lets the little kids here pet her when we go walking. She is a real lady.

I've included some pictures from the last year, and want CSC to know how happy I am that my daughter found Layla on Petfinder.com. She makes me smile every day, and I hope that I can make her happy for the rest of her life."
