Pepper & Emily

"Pepper and Emily now live with us in Elk Grove, and when we took them to the vet in October they got a clean bill of health. These cats are the best furry friends we could have asked for. When we are home they keep us company, and they amuse each other during the day when we are at work/in school. They have everything they need plus a nice view of the neighborhood from the upstairs window. At night they snuggle up with us on the bed, and make sure we get up in time to fix their breakfast each morning. Most of the time, they get along but occasionally they get into their little wrestling matches. Either Pepper wants to play with Emily and simply doesn't account for the fact he outweighs her by 5-6 pounds, or he's trying to be the alpha cat but Emily can hold her own.

Anyway, I thought I'd send you a recent picture of Pepper and Emily. This was taken in November, just before we moved into our house. As you can see, they know how to make the best of a long winter afternoon.
