Talula

"I hope you and all your doggies are doing well. Talula is getting to be such a big girl! We've let her fur grow out quite a bit for winter, but it's still just as soft and ever! I wonder if she'll always have puppy fur? It's gotten to the point where Tim and I can't imagine how we ever got along without her in our lives, she just fits in so perfectly.

We had an eventful Christmas. The poor dear caught some kind of virus on Christmas Eve and had to be taken to the emergency vet! She started throwing up and having diarrhea like you wouldn't believe. I was SO scared! But they took really good care of her, gave her some subcutaneous fluids and some antibiotics and she had bounced back by the very next day, in time to enjoy her Christmas presents somewhat, even though we tried to keep her resting. She's all better now and happy to be home.

She's getting to be SO smart. She sits, stays, comes, lies down, and even shakes! She rings the bell on our door when she wants to go out and gets along with other dogs very well, now. She even has a few boyfriends. :)

Anyway, I thought you'd appreciate a brief "hello" and an update, since it's been awhile.
