Wizard

"Wizard is doing wonderful!! He settled in about 20 minutes after his arrival to us and has been like one of the family ever since. It's like we raised him from a pup.

My daughter Courtney, 16, is his constant companion. He is her shadow. He sleeps with Courtney most of the time but once in a while finds his way to me as well.

He's great on a leash and being crated during our absences but we are still working on the crate in the car. Little by little I think he is starting to trust it. We take him on little rides and occasional trips up to two hours. He now settles in after about 10-15 minutes on most trips.

We've introduced him to Courtney's first love, a Great Dane named Zeus, who is currently still with her Dad. They both took to each other right away and were best buds. Wizard has also warmed up to my parents easily and all of Courtney's friends.

He loves going shopping at Petsmart and recently picked out a new monkey toy. He also likes going to my daughter's softball games. I'm not sure if it's because of the excitement or the fact that everyone gives him so much attention.

Sorry to go on and on but I cannot say enough good things about this little guy. I believe we were truly meant to be paired with him. He's really helping both Courtney and I cope with some difficult times and I hope we've done the same for him.
